International Broadcast Centre (IBC) for the 2010 Vancouver Olympic Winter Games. (Dominion Fairmile)

Role: Construction Manager, Management Team Leader

Project description: The IBC Project was the broadcasting Hub and the central location for the television and radio studios for more than 100 right holding broadcasters for the

2010 Vancouver Olympic Winter Games.

 Media coverage from every Olympic venue has been produced and distributed in the IBC facility to thousands of international media.

 IBC Project in numbers:

More than 1000 kilometres of electric cable.

More than 400 kilometres of data cable.

More than 1500 linear feet of ventilation conduits.

More than 1000,000 square-feet board of drywall.

 This 330,000square-foot (30,700 m2) temporary tenant improvement was located within the newly built Vancouver Convention Center.

 Significant preplanning and prefabricating was required to ensure the very tight schedule was met.

 The IBC Project was completed two weeks ahead of the schedule and under the original construction budget.

King Edward Village, Vancouver, Canada,

Role: Project Director and Construction Team Leader

Project description: Self-contained community project composed of:

 400 condos units and town homes; 350,000 square feet of residential area.

 Approximately 100,000 square feet of commercial space, including a major food store, a bank and a large branch of the Vancouver Public Library.

 The project that includes three floor of underground parking was built on a triangular piece of property that slopes in three different directions with a 22-foot drop from the SE to the NW Towers.

 More than 1,500,000 square feet of formwork contact area.

 Massive exposed concrete arches and columns for the two breezeways.

 6000 linear feet of exterior cornices.

 Roof top gardens and amenities, water feature and a public park and artwork.

Golden Eagle Blueberry Processing Plant,

Pitt Meadows, British Columbia, Canada

Role: Project Director and Construction Team Leader

Project description: Blueberry processing plant:

 Over 160,000 square feet facility including;

 One IQF System (individually Quick Frozen),

 Three (3) blueberry freezers, one fresh process area,

 One staging cooler, cold storage and shipping area.

Hotel Sandals Royal Hicacos, 5 stars Hotel, Varadero, Cuba.

Role: Project Director and Construction Team Leader

Construction Technical Assistance, Management and Coordination Contract with a Cuban Company. Implemented a cost control system and quality control system.

Project description: Self-contained resort project composed of:

 404 five stars suites on a 7.5 hectares lot (18.5 acres).

 31 residential buildings

 7 amenity buildings

 1.2 hectares of artificial lagoons.

 This project later received three Awards. Two from the Cuban Ministry of Construction; best quality, execution, in 2003 and one from World Travel Awards in 2007.

Project description:

 A luxurious condominium project of 200 units including 400 underground parking stalls, a complete gymnasium, a racquetball /squash court, an indoor pool, and an outdoor suspended pool.

 Have been involved on this project from the initial land survey to the delivery of the last finished condo unit.

Project description:

 650,000 square feet Project including a College, office tower and a hotel.

 Fast track project built it in less than a year.

Project description:

 A 35-storey Office Tower. Over one million square feet of leasable space with a multi-level underground shopping center with connection to the Montreal Subway. This Project is connecting to "Les Promenades de la Cathédrale"

Project description:

 A multi-level underground shopping center with connection to the Montreal Subway was built under the Historic Chris Church which was suspended over the excavation that spread under two major streets.
